In its most basic form, a snorkel is a curved tube that allows you to breathe while your face is underwater. The design and components of the tube will determine how comfortable it is to use. ScubaPro snorkels are all designed to make it easier to use. The elliptical barrel models can move through water with little resistance, allowing you to breathe freely and clear the snorkel with ease. The contoured models are shaped to minimize drag by bending closely around your head. Semi-dry top models are designed to prevent water from entering the tube. All models have specially-designed mouthpieces that fit properly and can be adjusted for maximum comfort. The three-dimensional barrel reduces drag while snorkeling, and the angled purge valve redirects bubbles out of view. An ergonomic mouthpiece adds extra comfort, and a flexible, corrugated section allows the snorkel to drop away from the face when not in use.
